Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Seller

2. Scope

These terms govern consumer sales made through settemondi.it for delivery or collection in Italy. The contractual language is English.

3. Product information, images and AI-assisted content

Some website content and product images may be created, adapted or quality-enhanced with AI-assisted tools. Where applicable law requires a specific disclosure or label, artificially generated or materially manipulated content will be identified clearly.

Product images are illustrative and may differ from current packaging, colour, size or presentation. Before ordering, customers should review the written product description and all mandatory product information shown on the product page rather than relying on images alone. If information appears inconsistent or unclear, contact customer support before placing the order.

AI-assisted content is used only to improve clarity, image quality and the customer experience. It does not replace the seller's responsibility to provide accurate mandatory information, must not misrepresent a product's material characteristics and does not limit statutory conformity, guarantee or other consumer rights.

4. Order and formation of the contract

Before submitting an order, the customer can review the products, quantities, total price, delivery method and payment method. Placing the order creates an obligation to pay. The confirmation email summarises the essential contract details.

The seller may reject or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, a price is clearly incorrect, abuse is suspected or delivery is impossible. Any amount already collected will be refunded where applicable.

5. Prices and charges

Prices are shown in euros and include applicable VAT. Delivery costs and the final total are displayed before the order is submitted.

6. Payment methods and security

The methods actually available are those shown at checkout and may include online payment, payment on collection or cash on delivery when enabled. Footer icons do not guarantee that every method is available for every order.

Online payments are handled by the provider identified during checkout. Sette Mondi does not store complete card numbers or security codes.

7. Pending or unsuccessful payments

An order remains unpaid or pending until the provider confirms the result. Do not submit a new order if the website offers a way to resume the existing payment.

8. Shipping and delivery

Online orders are currently accepted only for delivery or collection in Italy. Checkout rejects addresses outside the supported area.

The actual delivery charge and any free-delivery threshold are calculated by the system and shown before the order is placed. Delivery times are estimates and may change for reasons outside the seller’s reasonable control. We do not guarantee a date unless it is expressly stated in the order confirmation.

9. Receipt, damage and temperature-controlled products

Inspect the parcel on delivery. If an item is damaged, incorrect or missing, contact support promptly with the order number and photographs where possible.

Products requiring controlled temperatures are available only when a suitable delivery method is shown at checkout. Do not complete the order if an appropriate method is unavailable.

10. Right of withdrawal and returns

Subject to statutory exceptions, consumers may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of delivery or collection by contacting customer support.

The right may be excluded, among other statutory cases, for goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly and for sealed goods unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once opened. Each request is reviewed against the selected items.

For a change of mind, the customer bears the direct return cost. If a product is incorrect, damaged or non-conforming, Sette Mondi bears the reasonable return cost.

11. Refunds

A refund is made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed and within the statutory period. We may wait until the goods are returned, or until proof of dispatch is provided, before refunding. Standard outbound delivery costs are also refunded where required for a valid withdrawal.

Authorised refunds are recorded against the order and sent to the original payment method where technically possible. Final crediting times also depend on the payment provider.

12. Conformity, complaints and legal guarantee

Consumers retain all mandatory rights under Italian and applicable EU consumer law, including the legal guarantee of conformity. Withdrawal rights do not limit this guarantee.

Defects, non-conformity, incorrect items, mistakes or damage should be reported promptly with the order number and photographs where available.

13. Applicable law and disputes

Italian law applies without depriving consumers of any mandatory protection available under applicable law. Where required by law, disputes are subject to the courts of the consumer’s place of residence.
